Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SAVOK (the "Service"), operated by SAVOK ("we", "us", or "our"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Service.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the Service.

1. The Service

SAVOK is a mobile-first housekeeping operations management platform for hotels and short-term rental properties. The Service allows hotel staff to coordinate room cleaning, inspections, task assignments, and team communication. The Service includes web and mobile client applications, cloud-hosted backend infrastructure, and AI-powered assistant features.

To use most features of the Service, you must register for an account. Account types include:

You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. You may not share your account credentials with anyone else, except that a manager may provide worker credentials to the worker they are onboarding.

4. Content and Data Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the content and data you upload to or create within the Service ("Your Content"). Your Content includes room information, task records, messages, photos, voice notes, and any other data you enter into SAVOK.

By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, transmit, display, and process Your Content solely to provide the Service to you. We do not claim ownership over Your Content, and we will not use Your Content for any purpose other than providing the Service to your organization.

Aggregated and anonymized usage data (for example, average rooms cleaned per hour across all customers) may be used to improve the Service. We will never identify your hotel in any shared metric.

5. Multi-Tenant Isolation

SAVOK is a multi-tenant service. Each hotel organization's data is logically isolated from every other hotel. Workers and managers may only access data belonging to their own organization. Cross-tenant access is prevented at the database level through Row Level Security policies and at the application level through role-based authorization checks.

6. AI Features

The Service includes AI-powered features such as a voice assistant, task suggestion engine, and automatic summarization of team activity. These features process Your Content (chat messages, room activity logs, voice notes) to generate useful outputs for your team.

AI outputs are suggestions only. Final decisions about task assignments, room status, or any operational matter remain with the human user. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content. AI features may occasionally produce incorrect or misleading output. Do not rely on AI outputs for safety-critical decisions.

We do not use Your Content to train general-purpose AI models that benefit other customers. AI context is scoped to your own organization.

7. Subscription, Billing, and Cancellation

SAVOK offers subscription plans with different feature tiers. Pricing is available at savok.ai. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan you select. All payments are processed through Stripe or another PCI-compliant payment processor.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the in-app settings or by contacting us at [email protected]. Upon cancellation, you retain access to the Service until the end of your current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods.

We may offer a free trial period for new customers. Trials convert to paid subscriptions at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before then.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including (but not limited to) if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. Your data will be retained for 30 days in case of re-activation, after which it will be permanently deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or availability. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall SAVOK, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to such liability, or one hundred United States dollars ($100), whichever is greater.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SAVOK from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from your use of and access to the Service, your violation of any term of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in El Dorado County, California.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
